I'm living in Warsaw since 4 years :)

The city centre is starting to look really nice, also when you enter the city from the right side then you have the National Stadium [currently being build] on the left side of the river and the King's Castle on the right :) a nice view, believe me.

And the place I spend most of my time during the exam sessions, Warsaw University's library :D

I love it :-)

Well when you're entering Warsaw then it's the way I described, when you're leaving Warsaw then it's the way you described...:P

@Chuck
yeah, the garden is great during the summer! Awesome place to study when it's hot enough :) have you been there?

two summers ago, to visit some friends. Being from a small country, I liked the large space that is just lying around. Big streets, wide pavements, giant parks...
Our friends gave us a tour of the city. It still had a lot of the architecture you'd describe as 'eastern bloc', but it was clear that the city was in full development of its own identity. I can imagine it must have changed a lot since.

Yeah, it's changing all the time. The University is creating new building year by year, mine will be finished for my last year ;) It will be right next to the library.

Also this year the Copernicus Science Centre was finished and it's great, at least I've heard that it's great - haven't got the time to check it out myself :)

And there is a great Warsaw Uprising museum, really awesome stuff if you're into history or 2nd World War.

Poland is finally changing, mostly thanks to the European Union funds. I hope that we will be able to keep this pace at least for next 10 years.
