If I were born out of a rape/insane parents/any other kind that gives you a shit and unhappy life ? No thanks dude, thank god(oh the irony) they did abort me !
Why is it that most of the people who are against abortion are people you wouldn't want to fuck in the first place, huh? Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're fucked.
The honorable George Carlin RIP.

Hello Sasha,
From which statement do you consider embryo as a person that have a right to live upon parents please ?

Well, fortunately, not all people would agree and, even more fortunately, you at least have the chance to make that conclusion. You don't want to let unborn people to choose to disagree. So, can you call yourself "pro choice" really? You're neither "pro life" nor "pro choice". You're simply "pro death".
The honorable George Carlin RIP.

Well, that's about why there's nothing really funny about George Carlin's jokes. Lies are not funny.

From the statement that if you don't kill him (or her), he (or she) will have a life.

The point Sasha is trying to make here (I believe) is that you cannot know what that unborn child would choose.
To be clear: I'm against abortion as post-conception birth control, but I believe abortion should be possible when there is a serious threat to the life (both physical and mental) of the mother. What is a serious threat might be the question now. I'l leave that to the doctors, they're in a better position to judge that than me.

From this argument, if i understand well, you consider an embryo as a person only with a future possibility to live, right ?

Being concieved through rape doesn't mean your life will be bad in any way. It's not perhaps the "perfect start" and definitely not nice for the mother, but your life can still be great. Your parents might still be loving, caring and great. You can still study, get a good job, start a family and be happy.
Also, even those other cases you mention doesn't automaticaly make your life shit. Many who has had a bad time from the start of their life can still turn it around and live a good life.
I think it's all down to if you get help and, perhaps most importantly, what you make of your life.

The fact there is if the "unborn child" would live, he would not have any choice but living :-)... Being or not being is not the question for the "unborn child".
Do you understand what i mean ?
From this argument, if i understand well, you consider an embryo as a person only with a future possibility to live, right ?
Not only. You remain a person also after losing it. And I would rather call it an ability to live instead of possibility.

But the same applies for you and me as well. Why would it be any different for an unborn child?

Maybe just because it is the wish and the will of our parents , no ? ;-)
Another question Sasha ? Are you a parent ? If not, it is not so important.
Let an unborn child live means that he has got more right than parents responsabilities ? Right ? Because he has to choose to live even if their parents are not wishing him (or her) and not willing.
If then he has got more right (the right to live), why do you not let your child doing anything he (she) wants into your house ? You sure know that any child would have a baby with their parent ? Then why refusing it to him ? What is the right of the parent to choose the live of their children ?

The choice of life itself and the choice of the way of life are two different choices.
Guys, just one sentence from mr. Rothbard as I am his former follower (and he is still very intersting to me): Should any woman be forced to feed anyone in the world, even if that one will die without it? (so from this side of view, it´s positive action to feed and not to stop feeding embryo)
Maybe just because it is the wish and the will of our parents , no ? ;-)
Not only and even not necessarily. Some wish and nothing happens. Some wish to avoid but get children nevertheless. That's life. It's stronger than our wishes.
If the will of our parents made any difference, then it wouldn't be so difficult to justify even if our parents would kill us at a later time too when we turn out to give them more problems than they anticipated. We're not owned by our parents even when in uterus.
Another question Sasha ? Are you a parent ? If not, it is not so important.
Yes, I am. Twice. But how's that relevant? Am I more or less competent for this discussion then? I had parents. I think that should be enough.

Not right. That makes no sense at all. Both children and parents have the same right to live. That right should be superimposed to all other rights.
As I said, our parents' wishes are not crucial here. You don't get children by wishing. And if anything is irresponsible, it's ignoring the fact that the general purpose of sex is procreation. That's why we got sex in the first place. Even if we would say that sex is something that randomly evolved, the pleasure is still clearly there as a stimulus to have children. No doubt about it. Playing dumb when sex results in its purpose is quite irresponsible. And if someone is so scared of becoming a parent, isn't abstinence a far more responsible choice than murder? Sex is not children's play. It's adults-only for a reason.
And there are much worse things in life than your parents not wanting you. Getting killed while in your mother's uterus is definitely one of them.

As soon as you don't give the right for abortion, the choice to live does'nt exist as it is an obligation for the "unborn" child...
But to answer to you, the 2 choices you mentioned are the same because as soon as you consider the choice of your life is determined only by yourself (as explained by Sasha) and not by your parents or any authority, the choice of the way of life must be determined by yourself otherwise it is nonsense logically... And then, if the right to choose to live for an unborn child would be the rule, why the choice to death don't respect the same logic (suicide)... If no one has to act upon you, he can't do it neither for your birth, nor for your way of life and even no more for your death...

Parents are the guardians of their kids. They're not the owners of their children. That's why parents can choose some things of their children's way of life but not whether they should live or not.
And Sasha didn't say your choice of your life is determined only by yourself. Sasha says your choice to live or not is determined only by yourself, the moment you can make this choice (a baby of 6 months is obviously in no position to make that call as it has no realization of what that choice is whatsoever or at least it can't express it).
