Ýeah - I am going one week snowboarding in Alpe d'Huez and one week in Canazei :) Looking forward to it as I haven't been snowboarding since february 2007 in Faraya Mzaar, Lebanon.

@Vampire: Sure I have been in Porto. Only for a day though, but do you have a question about it? It has a beautiful old town.

I know you are lucky in Girona, In Valencia we are 400 km to Barcelona and then 2 hours more driving to Andorra aprox :/
My cousins live in Barcelona and some weekends they take the car and go skiing to Pirineos and in the same day they return, thats good, but when i go ive to sleep there so its more expensive

Last time io was in Andorra cause taken an offer from a travel agency with two friends more, with hotel but without for-fait, anyway it was great time for skiing :D

Maybe someone who've been there (or even live there) should come with recommendations as I only were there for one day. But just make sure to visit the old town and walk across the famous bridge. You could also visit the Port wine cellars if you interested in that. :)

Ill be travelling to Europe for about 2 Months in June 09. Planning on doing a Contiki to see a number of different places. Is there any really "Special" places that are absolute Must See's that wont be covered in my trip?

I also am planning on being in England while the Ashes Test series is on. Anyone thinking of heading over to watch some Cricket?

European Adventure is the trip im planning to do if anyone wants to check out the tour.

What places do you already visit?

If you want to know anything about the Netherlands, feel free to ask me.

the list of countries are as follows,

France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Vatican City, Greece, Albania, Montenegro (in transit), Croatia, Bosnia (in transit), Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium (in transit)

I would like to see some of Portugal and possibly a bit more of Belgium, I may go for a bit of a solo tour around some of the places after the Test at Lords, would be good to see more of Europe like Poland, Sweden, Norway, Finland but it will all come down to if I have enough money to do so and what other plans I have.

Is it a package tour? If I were you, I would do the trip on my own. That allows you much more freedom moving around or staying a place if you feel like it. Of course it can seem more comfortable knowing that you have a place to sleep every place you go, I like the experience of finding places on my own though - that also forces me to speak with the local people. Instead of tie yourself up on a fixed itinerary you could read a LP Europe guide to get an idea where to start and maybe a rough plan of where to go. Also, unless you've to be home at a certain time, make sure to have a flexible plane ticket that allows you to change time and even airport of your departure.
