Hey guys!
I'm going to Brasil in March/April next year. In two weeks going to Rio, Sao Paolo, Brasilia and somewhere in Amazonas (+pehaps Recife or Salvador). I'm not sure whether to stay another week? If so, where would you recommend I go?
Oh yeah, I'm currently in Prague and will stay here until wednesday. Anything you can recommend here (it's my second time here, so I've seen the major sights already)?
Kind regards

Yeah. I'll just hang around there for 6 years. Then I could pick up the 2014 WC while waiting for the Olympic Games :p What's there to see in Manaus? By the way, the extra week doesn't have to be in Brasil. I could go to Uruguay or Argentina - can you take a train there from Rio or Sao Paolo? Or would flying be cheaper and easier? What about the Iguazu Falls?
it's a very good choice.... ;).... manaos i dunno if you wanna be in the heart of the amazonas u can go there... but i prefer the fells imo
Moscow. Compared to Moscow St Petersburg come across as rather dull. Ok, the city itself looks nicer (as in the buildings are all old and fairly the same size) and there are more palaces in St Petersburg, but Moscow has such a cool vibe and lots to see. So unless you're very into turn-of-the-century European architecture and classical paintings and music, go for Moscow.
Recife and Salvador aren't in the Amazon Region!
I live in Brasília, if you like architecture and history, brasília it's a very good place to visit!
But, if you enjoy beaches and parties you better go to RIO, SALVADOR or FLORIANÓPOLIS!
=)

Didn't intend to say they were :p Just that we besides Rio, Sao Paolo, Brasilia and Amazonas perhaps would go to either Recife or Salvador! Anyway I've booked the third week now, so now I've much better time to decide, hehe. I think Iguazu Falls is high on the list, and I've heard good things about Salvador as well (if we aren't going there as a part of the plan of the first two weeks).
