The Who are the only thing good to see.
American football is toooooooooooo boring. 10 second play - 1 minute stay - 10 second play - 2 minute time out...
boooooooooooooring!!!

The TV stations gain a lot of money during those timeouts, every commercial is passed and the corporations pays a lot of money just for 30 secs of commercials, the Superbowl is so rentable to them, that's why soccer doesn't prevail in the United States.

I saw the first half of the game.... I find it interesting and quite complicated.... what else could you descreibe a sport with 53 players, 17 coaches and dozens of different style and systems.

Regarding the economical issue. I heard that at XLIV superbowl the price for each second of advertisement was 3 mil.... Incredible amount.... The Marketing has made it the most profitable sport ever and don't forget that NFL players receive a lot more money than the best soccer stars here in Europe... eventhough the IRS take a large part of the contract money.
I can't really figure why the hell americans like to see 2/3 hours of commercial???
Maybe chess final would be more interesting to me than superbowl.

I'm glad that the broadcasting of the match in germany didn't have any commercials at all. We were laughing about that all the time while WE could watch the cheerleaders :D
