I haven`t seen single match, but I have kept myself posted with the results. Really interesting teams have qualified to quarters - Hungary, AUE and Costa Rica.
The big problem here is the schedules. Instead of the best playing aginst the worst FIFA scheduled everything. For example Brazil with a great group results had to play against a 2nd, but not Egypt (although they failed) that play against a 3rd.
One semi-finalist will came from Brazil, Uruguay, Germany and Nigeria.
The other from Egypt, Costa Rica, EUA en Venezuela...
This needs to be scheduled diferently for the good of the game. After the groups you make a list of the 16 and make them play:
1-16/2-15/3-14 and so on.

Yeah I also think the draw turned out to be ridiculous. There's two very hard brackets while the other two seems pretty dull compared to them.
it is a problem of stamina
you can't play the third match of the group stage and the round of 16 with just one day of rest...don't you think so?
italy was the best third placed and played against the best first placed (spain) just because the played all matches during the same day as you played all matches during the same days of brazil

if you want to become world champion you have to be able to defeat each opponent... matches after rankings would be totally boring. it's good like it is now.
This Hungarian team was 3rd the last U19 European Championship (Germany has won, Italy has been the second, and Czech Republic has been the other 3rd team) - so it's not that surprise I think :)

At South America qualification, on the groups Uruguay won all the matches (even defeated Brazil) and loose 2 on the final round, which was a group of all the ones that qualified. Loose 2 and almost out.
It's the same here. What is the point of wining everything on the groups?
Some of the teams were even able to loose a game in order to choose the rival. The last group to play knows which the rivals will be before they play the final match.
BTW, S.Korea U20 has just lost 3-2 to Ghana U23...
