Unless the battery is powered with the movement of wheels...
anyway it wasn't said that he uses it all the time - just let's say when he is having a power crisis and needs some 'time off'.

I'm allmost 100% sure Cancellara used a motor, but i've had the discussion a 100 times before and don't want to go all over it again :p

A scanner will try to avoid mechanical doping in the Tour de France

By putting a charger in the bike, besides the engine and the battery? Now there goes another 1 kg more in the weight of the bike. And he had the same pace for the whole 40-50 km. So he either used the engine for the whole time, he didn't used it at all.

If it's possible, I'm sure it exists. To me it's also very likely that he did it, but we will have to wait and see how good his performances are in the future.
In any case, to the trained eye, his attacks in Roubaix and especially on the Muur in the Ronde Van Vlaanderen seemed "very strange".

More evidence?

his timetrail today makes it clear to me all over again
It must have been a while since Cancellara lost a time trial.
nope, earlier this season he lost one in Oman (Boasson Haegen)
Yeah okay, I first wanted to put 'serious time trial', I mean one with importance.
then your statement is totally accurate :)

finally Cancellara has become a normal human being with normal physical limits

Wait for the real important ones ;-)
Cancellara is good at single day ITTs and not at ITTs at longer tours. And that makes him human, yes (compared to others ;-)).

He also lost in Californian Road.

Cycling rules tell the ones in bold won't win it. You can't perform well in both giro and tour.

Anyway, betting on anyone else besides Contador isn't betting. It's throwing your money away.

My money is on Rein Taaramäe.

:)
