Maybe I can get a little feedback on a song from our debut album? The band is called KATO and the song is called "45"...
If you go to http://www.myspace.com/katosite and listen to the song "45" (quality is of course crappy - thanks MySpace :-( ). The record was released nov 8th last year and the single "45" got some airplay on national Danish radio.
Any thumbs up/down, feedback, comments? :-)

I like drowning pool too, although the more famous they become, the less I like them :D
@Lazlo very interesting. Well first of it is very hard to comment music, because it is very individual if you like some aspects or not and when you are in a band, you must make your music anyway, as soon as you really try to adapt to critisism you will lose a lot. ^^
My impression: it starts out very english. First impression was: english band. Second impression: lots of changes in "rhythm" (well I am not a musical expert, but it sort of "jumps"), that is something that many people may get irritated with. It makes melody harder to memorize and harder to get into the music but seems to be something that also is "special" for your band. It also gives not one emotion, so music is not sad or happy but jumps between minor and major. And this wildly :D
Good voice, not recognisable (also english), but a good clean voice of your singer. The lyrics are not very complex in this song.
The music seems to be very guitar-orientated. It seems to be lowder and the hard riffs stick out (sometimes it seems like the riffs try to be melody, while for me they are not). I personally got annoyed by the strong guitar now (after listening to all songs on myspace), because it sounds the same and is very aggressive and I do prefer bands with strong melodies and voices instead of guitars (that is just my personal preference).
I really like the strings. I personally would have tried to throw the strings in after half the song, so you get a strong climax and epic ending :D But that is just my own preference.
Well all in all I think it is a good song to listen to in the car, a background song, for me it is more interesting than many things in english charts. Good job. ^^
By the way my musical preference is progressive rock, trip rock, jazz, classical and (black and gothic) metal.

My first impression is that it sounds technical, a bit progressive rock like.
Vocals are indeed a bit hard to understand, but being an extreme metal fan, I'm used to that =P It does bring me to to a complaint I have - it's too soft :)
Lazlo, what's your part in this band? Guitarist, vocalist etc..?

I play the drums - and thanks for the constructive feedback guys!
Having a child aged 1½ years and a second one coming in February I have somehow accepted that we will never be rock stars - I don't have the time :-/ But as a hobby project it is really satisfying to get to play gigs around Denmark.
We had hoped to get a tour of Holland/Belgium but I don't think we can make it before Februrary. So maybe we'll make some new material instead.
And Rink: the guitarist was also the sound engineer, so we kinda knew that the guitar would be dominant *lol*
