I never saw Riquelme shooting a penalty as bad as this one. :( I saw on his face that he was gonna miss it, i had a bad feeling. To bad. :(

Yea, but was always one of the best charateristics that Riquelme had had untill this day, always had handled pressure better than anyone.

It was a great tournament for Villarreal, but you know, I just can't get enough :P And it was so close, such a good match...
And the off-side goal (that I celebrated before knowing it was off-side), then the penaly... too much for a single evening.
Milan still have a chance, but it's not the same, my team was definetly Villarreal :(

What was wrong with Riquelme's penalty? Lehmann just picked the right side and commited, no duh he would've saved it. Need to take some of those enchanted qualities away from football and think more realistically. Requelme may be good but I certainly wouldn't put him in the superlative, wouldn't attribute his blocked pk to pressure or a poor shot either.

At the least the final will be good, would've hated to see another Greece in a major final.

Another Greece? What's the difference between Arsenal's match last week and Villarreal's match today, and vice-versa? :-?

Although I always claimed that Greece was a fair champion, I think this case is different, because we're not talking about styles all that different.
