Murray won it in the 5th set - what a great game! Wawrinka looked done and dusted several times, but came back to give the home audience a scare. Lots of errors but also lots of great plays and endurance from both players.

Definately not Murray's best game so far

No, if he continues to play like this Roddick will send him home in the semi-final in three sets.

First he has to play against Ferrero... look well the former #1 ATP. Go Ferrero!

Ivo Karlović sucks...
2009-06-30 13:28:42
YES!!!

(Yesterday I saw the 2001 Wimbledon final between Patrick Rafter and Goran Ivanisevic who won the tournament after receiving a wild card entry - now THAT was a great game :-D)

yup.Ivanisevic was the king :) karlović is just a ludacris...he doesn't know how to play tennis, only serving
2009-06-30 14:16:00
Well, as long as his opponents don't have any response to his serve... I'm looking forward towards tomorrow's match, Verdasco does not have a bad return, but didn't manage to scare him, so Federer has a big task to fulfil tomorrow.
2009-06-30 14:17:31
He isn't so loved in Croatia...cause he refused to play for our Davis Cup team, he said the money was too low
2009-06-30 14:20:07
Well, ok, but that doesn't change the fact that he's doing great and he will be tough to beat :)... I don't like Nadal either, but I won't neglect that he's the best in some aspects of the game, just as Karlovic is in serving :)
2009-06-30 14:24:11
well, you can't compare Nadal and Karlović,2 different styles of play. and Karlović can only win in tie-break :)
2009-06-30 14:30:45
I don't compare them, I'm just saying that Nadal is in some aspects the best player in the world, and in another aspect Karlovic is the best player in the world: serving. As long as his opponents don't have any answer to his serve and your service is very important (like on grass), then Karlovic is an excellent tennis player, and it's a well-deserved win. The most complete player does not always win, otherwise Federer wouldn't lose a match at all. It's a bit disrespectful to say that he doesn't know how to play tennis, let's find a guy first who is able to beat him on grass :)

lol, you just didn't read at all what The_Smiths said :-P
2009-06-30 14:38:10
no :))
2009-06-30 14:43:45
...and there goes the objective way of looking at things ;)

Ivanisevic also didn't know much more than serving btw...
2009-06-30 14:44:56
I didn't want to make a discussion about karlović, I just wanted to say my opinion
