Was it prooved? Was there any serious evidence? It just so easy to blame other for such things... if cookys selling kid came at your home his parents later could blame you for same, and how you whould proove that you didnt done anything to him? He had lot of cash so just paid parents and ended this... these parents wanted just $$$, they got it and got silent intstantly.
The media ruined his life, do you remeber what happened whit Britney? She got also crazy becouse from young age she was "living" whit media, and Jackson 30 years more had to live this life. He didnt grow at this enviroment, his personality stayed "childish", he made this wonderland, he played whit kids... everyone forgets his charitys and so on, he was too good person, some people just used this for bad purpose..
Evn if it was true, do you thing it is bigger crime then NATO forces killing inocent chilred/people at Iraq for example? They thow granade to bunch of people, kills one "terrorist" and 10 other random people, and says "well, shit happens" and no one from western world cares... that is exactly what i was going to suggest, parents make up a false story to try and get money off him.
