I must make a controversial post only to set the record straight!

With all due respect to his composing abilities and showmanship he still was:

1. A man who despised and was ashamed of his own skin colour.
2. A man who hated himself to the point that he wanted his entire features altered.
3. An alleged pedophile.
4. An irresponsible father.
5. Not that bright, getting into the same trouble over and over again.

Yes it is a shame when any person dies, but his singing career does not cover for his many and unforgivable other shortcomings. May he rest in peace and this somewhat unnecessary thread too!
