btw one of my teacher's collegue, who is a russian living in estonia, said the he fully understands why there is a big rivalry between estonians and estonian russians. And he did't blamed estonians even one bit, he said that the russians that were sent to to estonia during soviet were mostly from uneducated working class who weren't meant to be useful for the society anyway.
Anyways I was truly amazed to hear such standpoint from a guy that is russian. Cause he basically said that his own people suck:O

He has no right to. Only to blame is the regime, not the nation itself. And it was done for more reasons, the most important of which was to mix up the authentic population in order to avoid future nationalist riots, like it happened in the 90's. Estonians, moldavians, ukrainians, etc. were deported to Siberia and instead Russians were 'imported' and settled onto key state positions.
or madness, he could get beat up or even killed for such sayings:/.. Anyways this guy helped me to reach a whole new level of understanding what exactly is going on in here through his sayings.
An intelligent guy will always think like this, objectively bringing the facts forward.
well yes, I can't actually say he meant bad for his people. But noone hasn't said anything like that before. And the guy is too higly educated to doubt in his sayings. Atm he works as a history teacher in one estonian russian speaking school.
