1) 4 * (a + b - c) = 3 * (a + b - c)
2) 4 = 3
2 is no result of what is stated in 1.
0 = 0 is.

No. If you put numbers in, you'll still end up dividing by zero.
Ninomusic to Rubinho
He doesn't devide by zero
4 * (a + b - c) = 3 * (a + b - c)
4 * 0 = 3 * 0
0 = 0
Not 4 = 3

He does divide by zero, and therefore, 2) is not a result out of 1) (as La Sombra said).
It's the same mistake as in this one:
a = b
ab = b²
ab-a² = b²-a²
(b-a)(a)= (b-a)(b+a)
a = b+a
a = 2a
1 = 2
a = b
ab = b²
ab-a² = b²-a²
(b-a)(a)= (b-a)(b+a)
a = b+a
a = 2a
1 = 2
So he doesnt divide?
It just states that 0=0?(4=3 is not right because cant divide by 0 that is true)
What is the conclusion then? Why cant 0=0 conclude that 3=4? Because you cant make it the other way?
Im lost here:P

Nah, i just looked at my professors homepage and found some section called "math jokes" :P
He has many different equations like that there.
He has many different equations like that there.
The conclusion is that 0=0, nothing more.
The 'joke' is that 4 equals 3 (although it's not true of course).
