England-Russia 3-2 at halftime. Looked bad when Rus was leading 0-2 too but now.. :)England has played great football, easily the best looking football so far in these games from what I've seen (haven't seen Ger and couple others though). Especially Carney and Smith have been great.

yeah we did put some nice moves together, i'm surprised i still had a voice at the end of the game. The womens game is poor, so many pathetic mistakes that an 11 year old wouldnt be happy to make, even the ref's are worse. Guess there isn't much diving though on the plus side.

England has reached the semis. At the moment it is France against the Netherlands.

The Netherlands in the semis as well. Quite remarkable, they used to fail in the qualifying stages already. Now they perform as well as our men.
2009-09-04 09:42:48
hopefully there will not be any penalty's... :-P
2009-09-04 09:45:43
They've beaten France after penalty's. Our penalty-syndrome dates back from the 90's, lately we've gained some more confidence in that discipline ;-)
