cracking the age-old conundrum about the chicken and the egg.

Such a terrible pun.

What if the egg appeared first in a forest but no one was around to witness it until after it had grown into a chicken, then what?
2011-07-19 00:05:53
That would be magic, something doesn't just appear :D
2011-07-19 00:06:23
Then it's the chicken, obviously, since the egg didn't appear! :p

Where would the first atom have appeared before the Big Bang?

That was my answer also, but to be more correct it's the dinosaur chickens evolved from that were able to produce the protein ovocledidin-17 :) Or this answer is at least closer to the right answer then only egg or chicken as every animal that lives now is evolved from another species ;)

Where would the first atom have appeared before the Big Bang?

Yeh good question. If you have the right answer you will become 1 of the most famous persons on this planet ;) I have absolutely no idea what the right answer is and that's ok as we don't have the answer for everything and maybe never will. But I think matter is always somewhere, it has no beginning and no end. What we see is just a phase of what it is at this moment in time. That is almost an unimaginable thought for humans, I know, but that is what I think. How philosophical :P

Not that this had something to do with the chicken and the egg :P

the egg came first. dinosours laid eggs. so! chickens were evolved from dinosours so the egg came first, simples.

so dinosaur chicken appeared before dinosaur egg..
2011-07-20 12:14:27
dinosaur chicken? Chickens and dinosaurs didn't live together :) Birds evolved from dinosaurs.
