so what you asking me? so taht you don't have your country players , and its week to ask someone else , whos from other country , to play as your country people. it's nor patriotic.. it's showing your country basketball level , and its very week. i think that he in euro 09 will be not the goodiest centre , he will be maybe 13..or smth, so its showingf that he is not good palyer . open your eyes man ;)
yes mehmet okur is a good player, one of the best centres from europe in nba :) he can throw from 3points, and he can dunk :) universal player :)
We will see toughguy... I'm sure that Gortat will be one of the best centre in this turnament, I have no doubt.
Ofcorse by stats he may be one of the best centers at eurobasket09, but thats becouse your team overal is weak (hmm dont agree?), and slightly better player can look very great, especialy if your team will play by him, give him ball a lot and so on.
Anyway i dont understand this discussion, why its only about Gortat O_o He is normal player (not too bad and not too great), in Poland he probably is famous (for basketball fans at least) and thats it.
