Subject: Electric guitar
I'm going to start 'playing' it...going to buy one in two weeks.
Do you have any tips? I'm planning to spend 100 euro at most. Don't know nothing about playing it or choosing the proper one.

Not going to happen :p I have funds for one...and the choice is electric. I know that it's easier to learn on the acustic one, but I will try to learn the beginnings with the electric. Just need some help with choosing :)
i want to play on electric guitar too;p electrics are awesome!:D when i hear bands like Muse i just want to play on electric guitar:p it is off top ?:P
Well - for 100 euro it will be a total beginner guitar of course. But to see if you like it or not it will do.
In this price category it does not really matter - you can choose by the coolest looks;-). The biggest difference will be the pick-ups. If you want to play high gain sounds (e.g. metal, hard rock) I would recommend you a guitar equipped with humbuckers - if not, or if you want to play in the direction classic rock, jazz, or funk you can also take a guitar with single-coil pick-ups (they have sometimes a bit a problem with high-gain sounds). In general, the more "modern" your favourite sounds are, the more I would recommend you humbuckers.
If you want to buy a new guitar I would recommend you guitars by Harley Benton - they are quite solid for your price range. If you are looking for a second-hand guitar (or see a good deal somewhere - I do not know prices in Poland), I would strongly recommend you guitars by Epiphone. They are usually a bit more expensive, but offer great value for the money.
What about amplification? Do you already have an idea there?
Cheers,
Lock

Yes - Gibson Les Pauls are cool;-)! The are quite heavy, but offer great sustain and look awesome. ESPs are also great - they especially have an excellent price-value ratio...
i wish i can play guitar like :MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO ;)
HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO PLAYED ON A 4 GUITAR a solo. insane guy. that guitar must've been like more than 20KG.
besides borkoss and other write in youtube : his name and add 4 guitar. and will see his insane solo and he play in different ways.

Cool looking guitar - but the most boring solo ever;-)...
I personally like guitar players with feeling more than those who are just fast. One of my faves is definitely Mark Knopfler. He may not play super-fast or complicated, but he is unmatched in his feeling and emotional play. Also an extremely skilled guitar player is John Petrucci...

oh, a technical solo is in album : Arise from Sepultura, all the song are very technical, very nice melody solo's not so fast but superb.
and i dont think you consider Ingwie Malmsteen a weak guitarist. you can say he is a god in guitar playing but a d*ck in real life

Yes, Mark Knopfler's beginning to Brothers in arms is one of the songs that I want to play...:)
Thanks for help!

Of course not! All of them are absolutely insane guitar players! I just ment that I do not like what they play. Seeing people playing a blues scale in an insane speed is for me as interesting as watching the championships in typing a typewriter as fast as possible (which actually exist - the record is somewhere about writing a complicated and before never seen text with more than 200 letters a minute without mistakes). But this is just personal taste. Also, guitar gods like Malmsteen could play basically everything on their guitars - it's not like he can only play fast blues scales. That is just what he is most famous for. But with his skill he could also play everything else extremely good...
well Malmsteen doesnt play only blues scale. he is more a neoclassic rock :)
his first album is awesome: trilogy. you should know it ;)
and listen to the song: far beyond the sun.
P.S> you saw how a topic made for borkoss became a topic about malmsteen and other guitarists? =))

Yeah - as usual;-)!
Ok - back to topic!
@borkos: You're welcome! But you did not answer my question;-)! What about amplification?

Well for the beginning my high fi should do, or I'll connect it to the computer. No need to buy the amplifier at the beginning I think...it's worth almost as much as the guitar, so maybe later :)
When I first started electric guitar I got a beginners kit for around 150 euro. I'd assume you can get one for about 120-130 euro in Poland though.
I've got an Acoustic guitar and if you're gonna play alone, acoustic is way better :)
