let´s talk about your typical food in your city or country. some cities has different own food from others in the same country.
lets see wich looks delicious..
Rules.-
put the name in your native language, like is known in your country
also if you want put the ingredients in english.
I´ll start , in Guayaquil, Ecuador the city i live, the typical food is:
Encebollado de pescado
in english is fish cocktail, also you can eat it with shrimp, octopus etc
cazuela de pescado
almost like the fish cocktail but solid..
guatita
beef tripe stew in potato peanut sauce.
i dont like this to much
However in Gye. we eat a lot of rice.
Continue please, I known that in other countries there ´s a lot of fine dinning

This is very good topic, it's interesting to know about other countries traditional foods. :)
There in Latvia, we love a lot of foods, but most traditional foods are:
"Alus" - Beer
I know that is drink, but there is no Latvian without a beer.
In midsummer fest traditional is eating "Jāņu siers" - Cheese
Every Latvian woman cook "Speķa pīrāgi" - Bacon pies
And the main traditional food is "Kartupeļi ar zirņiem un cūku galvu" - Potatoes whit
peas and pork head.
For this i have not found a picture, but it's so tasty. :)

i dont like guatita... cause of the beef tripe is so chewy. XD

Cheese whit cumin, it's not so good for me, but in midsummer also in my names day i eat it :)
i known is cumin but the kind
cause exist mozarella cheese. cheddar cheese, etc

2nd 5 liters of milk
3rd 2 eggs
4th 50 - 100 g butter
5th 50 - 100 g sour cream
