nope...

we have prosciutto san daniele, prosciutto crudo di parma and many others...they are all thin-sliced hams

but of course serrano is delicious, however look here
just look at the pictures even if you would probably understand as spanish and italian are similar
2010-02-06 13:58:14
yeah, that ham, or that red thing ( we call it "chorizo"), is great, alone or inside real bread with some tomatoe or a bit of olive oil, yummm
2010-02-06 13:59:09
i mean the way of making spanish cured ham is a different techique than prosciuto, because the tase is not similar, even prosciuto is fine too ;P

edit: for spanish ham u need a really dry place, in valencia pe it would be impossible to make it:

oh well now I understood :)

I love serrano with "mozzarella di bufala" have you ever tried it?

it is one of the best italian products, but as it can't be transported it is very difficult to find it even in north of italy...
2010-02-06 14:05:34
Actually i am not knowing many about that subject. But i do not think i will go to hell but it is not just good. But i will eat pork when i went to canada no doubt...I tasted it,it is good:)God please forgive me:P
2010-02-06 14:06:02
yeah, there is an italian restaurant close to my house, with italian owners and cookers i mean, and the mozzarella di buffalla, the really thin napolitana pizza and the antipasto ( prosciutto etc..), is really great! :)
2010-02-06 14:14:21
you should at least eat good pork...

if you have to go to hell at least do it for a good reason, I mean...eating a pork steak isn't worth for it

eating some jamon serrano with mozzarella di bufala would really worth going to hell
2010-02-06 14:19:11
yeah I know what you mean...there's a spanish restaurant close to my house too and I liked paella from them but I went to spain 3times and I've tasted a good paella made in valencia and it is something extraterrestrial

I mean...my mom's lasagna is very good and she makes it as the traditional recipe but a lasagna made by an old grandmama from bologna would be unbelievable
2010-02-06 14:19:42
jamon serrano with red wine
2010-02-06 14:33:21
