No, It's from Karelian and eated all over in Finland. It's really good. Which place you were in Finland?

oh it happens! i have seen it, put a mars bar in a deep fat frier ;)
...some looks good but others, id eat it only if i get paid for! xD

now let's make some people hungry with some romanian traditional food :)
First of all is ciorba wich comes in different ways and with different meats: beef, pork, chicken, fish ..or no meat at all ...just vegetables ....and it's served as a first dish right after the appetizers
another dish is sarmale... also with a big variety, with different meats ...or without any meat
yet another popular dish called tocanita
and another :) called ciulama de pui cu ciuperci
and another :P ....fasole cu ciolan
also very popular is mititei la gratar
and now for the desert the most traditional are the cozonaci
....and many other pies, cakes etc
...now it's impossible to name all the traditional dishes because they are so many and also different from region to region ..i tried to show some of them that every romanian knows about.
...anyway... now, very popular are also foreign dishes like the italian pizza, pastas and many others
...and now i must go and eat something because i'm already starving :D

Ah, i forget "Rupjmaize" - Dark Rye Bread
This bread is famous for some countries because they don't make it.
Also we love "Ķiplokmaizītes" or "Zacīte" whit beer! - Dark rye bread with garlic
