is this swiss or austrian?

2009-09-17 11:17:46
we call it berner würstel

but according to wikipedia, it's not named after the swiss capital, but after it's inventor, an austrian cook, erich berner. so it's austrian.

btw: my favorite sausage ;o)

How come that almost any food looks gross on a picture ?
2009-09-17 17:00:00
why not? It is bread you put into hot cheese, so basically it is the same as if you eat bread with cheese on it. :D But of course there is a lot of fat in it. Still it is very very delicious, especially on cold days in winter.

Hmm yea. We are only used to look at pictures on the products we buy. And those are usually "fake" pictures to make it look more delicious. So I guess every picture that is not handled that way looks gross..
