That's BS. Millions of other people are hurt by what Hitler did. Hitler is not a taboo, especially not in Germany. There are always lots of documentaries about WWII on German television.

He is right, I know that some Croatian "nazi" leaders and followers escaped to Argentina or most of them were exiled there
I remember 10 years ago or so they found Dinko Šakić in Argentina.
I agree it is unlikely Hitler himself went there, though. Nor to Paraguay or Brazil, other usual suspects, for that matter :P The fact that they don't have his skull doesn't mean he didn't die there nonetheless. After all, we don't have the skulls of 99,999999% othe people we believe to be death :P
Just as finding that a fragment of Jesus' cross is a fake doesn't mean that jesus is still alive :P

it is ok to talk about hitler. here in austria some elder people do block if you start that topic. one reason for that is, that it was a tabu in the years after the war.
talking about is necessary and done nowadays.
i think his death relatively well documented. there were (or are?) several witnesses.
watch for example the films "im toten winkel" or "der untergang". both based on reports of hilters secretary, who was in the führerbunker.

Some german people are deeply ashamed aboud what he did so show some respect en don't talk about this guy :-)
of course most of us germans are still ashamed about what we or our ancestors have done. But like Naku said, that's even more a reason to talk about it, of course in a objective way, as far as possible.

There are a lot of ideas, emotions and ideologies regarding WWII, the German involvement, the Nazi party and Hitler. It is not only important but vital that we talk about this because it is a huge and cardinal part of human history. It is of the utmost importance that we discuss what happened in WWII from every possible angle, so we may prevent this type of colossal war and crimes against humanity from happening again.
WWII on all its aspects is a major part of every nation's curriculum including Germany and should remain so. Germans are not afraid or ashamed to talk about it and they shouldn't be. We are not living in biblical times when we judge someone by the actions of his ancestors. From my experience with living in several countries around the world (including Germany), I find the Germans to be more educated and open to talk about WWII and with a greater thirst for knowledge than many other nations.
Conspiracy theories are present everywhere and regarding almost every subject that interests more than two people, let alone such a huge subject like WWII. So far the ONLY facts regarding Hitler's death ascertain his demise, it's the conspiracy theories that lack any sort of evidence. Of course it is exciting in many different ways to entertain the thought about conspiracy theories, but they usually turn out to be utter rubbish.
Personally I find jokes about Hitler not so amusing for there was nothing funny about the man's life nor the effects of his ideologies. It is to be studied but not a subject for jokes. It is mostly not a subject for jokes because his name and life work stand behind so much evil, death and destruction which for some might seem like a distant matter fit for jokes and for others, a very uncomfortable personal history.

I believe that such a conspiracy theory exists because;
a. Other Nazi criminals have escaped to South-America and some were actually caught there and brought to justice, so it would not be hard to assume the same about others which were not caught.
b. The idea that Hitler is/was alive and might have escaped to Argentina or thereabouts, is so exciting/scary/sensational that our human inquisitive mind and modern day need for journalistic sensationalism makes people invent or believe all sorts of stories.
c. Elvis is alive and well, working in a bait shop in South Dakota. ;-)

I don´t think so, I remember in my city, a Nazi, every days listening march music, in his house, he had many Nazi elements; he escaped to Chile, Coquimbo, in 1945... he founded a Neo Nazi group.
