Hi Spartan I refer to his skill increases which are all +0,2 +0,2 etc.

A player with talent in his true (and probably hidden) position will have at least some +0.3 increases here and there, unless of course his talent is very bad, because in the youth school the primary skills for the true position increase faster than the other skills.

Hey Spartan this was originally posted by wesleystevens about twenty pages ago, so I am just repeating the general idea, with a couple of tweaks of my own.

In the UM handbook, under the heading 'Positions', you can see the primary skills for each position. So in the youth school you can tell his true position by seeing which skills increase fastest, since in the youth school the primary skills of the player's true position will increase fastest. Note that once he is promoted to the senior team and is trained by your regular trainers, increases are the same for all skills.

Now wesley trains pace and playmaking first, and I train pace and tackling, but the objective is the same: to find out the true position and talent as quickly as possible, because all positions have either pace of tackling (or playmaking) as a primary skill.

For me a talented player will have at least a +0.2 +0.2 +0.3 pattern in increases in his primary skill. These days we have to be more ruthless in weeding out the poor talent players because they reduced the number of trainees to 12.

so i have to train all of the skills in the 1st weeks to find witch one will increase faster more then +0.2 ??
