Subject: new game suggestions

New game

This project is effectively 3 hours old in coding terms. You dont need to login as yet as you go straight in as me. There is a forums tab where you can chuck ideas etc.

This gives you a chance to put forward suggestions which will help the soccer based management game get it right - right from the start. Its on a silly server just now so dont be surprised if its slightly slow.

Comments welcome. New skins defo wanted.

p.s. there is hundreds of coding to get done on it so if you see mysql errors its always to do with the file not being coded yet.

Im effectively after ideas to hopefully code the game up and its good to fly right from the off set.

hee hee yeah. As stated this is right at the beginnings and is where anything can get coded/changed/added or removed so its a decent chance to put input into a project which will hopefully come out pretty good after taking all the comments on board.

well to be honest theres not much to suggest at the moment.. you have to do something, and then see how people think it can be improved :)

indeed. I think a match engine is the first thing you should develop. Without a succesfull engine you can't make a decent game.

its the last thing you need to do. First you have to do all other stuff, so after implementing the ME you can start the game ...

not sure about that Langhe. The php is easy(ish). After looking at how an ME would be developed i.e. 2d/3d thats my main issue. There is a script called action script which if im being honest it looks like chinese to me.

Indeed. There is a difference between the webpage building and building the ME. The first thing is quite easy, but I guess the ME is a hard thing to build.

again the logic of an ME isnt that hard - if x+y(RAND (sokker speak D)) * RAND + HT RAND = goal then celebrate :D

Nah really the actual design of an ME is pretty tedious and also quite simple. Its the actual script i.e. do i want to just do an HT style text system (not too hard). OR would i want to do it right and get at least 2D like ultimate manager or footstar. If its the latter then im realiant on someone else OR reliant on me reading a few books for a couple of months then starting that.
