That's what put me off the dentists in the first place. Bad experience when I was about 7 of having a tooth removed without any apparent sedative.
This sounds stupid, but when I was younger I watched teletubbies. At the end something would happen. 1 was the lion and the bear. This music would start. I remember the voices. I would run out of the room and wouldnt come out until I was sure it was over. I HAD NIGHTMARES ABOUT IT. Even now I couldn't watch it.

Apparently I didn't like the Gremlins, in particular the one that jumped out the cupboard in the bathroom.
I also didn't like this woman

but have since met her and she's really nice.

I also have a phobia from wasps (and also hornets, but not bees). When I was a boy a wasp once flew in my eye and stung me several times. Since then I really have to concentrate and fight against arising panic when being to close to such a beast.

However, I am making progress - I now just kill these little buggers when they get to close to me and I see an opportunity;-)...

when i was a kid, old people tod me "dont worry about wasps, if you dont attack them, they wont attack you", and it was absolutly false, a wasp hit me on a swimingpool on summer xD

If you dont have wasp-alergy now you are lucky then, i know a guy who was stung several times by many wasp, and since it his body can not support another stung , if he is hitted he needs inmediatly a medicine product to avoid getting really ill, eveyr time he goes to the country he has it oin the pocket

When I was a boy a wasp once flew in my eye and stung me several times.

What the..? What happened afterwards? Did your eye survive, or are you now walking around like this:

I was insanely lucky, the wasp only hit the eyelid and the surrounding skin. So I did not lose my eye, but for sure posed a terrible sight for several weeks since my eye was extremely swollen etc. However, as I said it was shocking enough that I needed several years not to be at the border of panic when seeing a wasp...
