German international goalkeeper Robert Enke has been killed after being hit by a train at a level crossing, with police saying the death could be a suicide.

Rest in Peace Robert. i'm extremely sad.

Today 1000 children below 3 years old died because a simple lack of food... Time to do something for that instead of becoming emotional with the dead of a "well-known" person.

grote smurf, i suggest you do something about the leaders of the countries where these kids are dying, they take the aid money and make their lives luxury whilst their countrymen die agonizing deaths.

It was a suicid, could be that he took his life because of his daughter (3) who died 2006...

Damn.. sad for his family and all the people who loved/supported him.

But I'm not really impressed. Anyway, RIP.

Well, 1000 children died yesterday when we posted about siupporters' mood system. Or the day before, when we wrote about H1N1 in Ukraine.
My point is that it seems we can do many things while hunger is still a problem, and I don't see mourning Robert Enke worse than commenting the pull of the week. So, save the NGO cheap talk.
