exactly, they brewed before us so have more right to claim them as 'beer' country. Belgium has much more 'special' beers though I think.

Well we are mainly 1st in beer consumation and beer is there cheaper than soda water:)

no offence, but that says more about the quality of your beer than its price, I think :)

Or it says much about the ethicalness of belgian beer manufacturers. :P

We have a law (as always we have a law for everything) in Germany that there has to be a cheaper beverage than beer in a restaurant or bar.

Why? I would (in Denmark at least). It's much cheaper and more healthy than buying a bottle.
