Expensive... i need cheap/free maps... in argentina we have free maps, done by a bunch of people and they are very good, i'm sure we can use free maps in europe too, not official maps. Right?

well, i guess with these maps its the same as with wikipedia. You might get some useful information... might.

A lot of these free maps are based on OpenStreetMap maps, or something similar.
They are accurate for the major roads only, most smaller roads are not (yet) included.
