Because FIFA is a registered trademark. They won't allow you to use that name, when they find out eventually.

I know it's trademark but they do not care if others use it as long as you do not claim you are affiliated with them. I did my re-search before picking this domain, no worries.

Quite surprising, especially as there are official soccer games with the name "Fifa" already. I would be hugely surprised if this name will survive the first months without legal process :)

agree. additionaly, there is already a Fifa Soccer Manager.

I don't know about laws but guess the name thing can be problematic.

Hey guys, we have recently decided to change the beta date to February 24th instead of the original planned date January 15th due to some changes needed. There is a high chance that the date will be change to early February but for now it's February 24th to avoid anymore delays. This will give us enough time to be able to add another continent world which would be Europe, instead of only being N.America and S.America.

could be a good idea if you select some options in the player, f.e. if the player should run a long time with the ball or do something else; like individual instructions

The players could have more hidden skills, like "cabeceo" (hit the ball with the head), temperament, cheater (with referee), etc.
Doing that, the users could pay more attention to the matchs. Thinking "mm... this player seems have good "cabeceo"", or "all the matchs, this fecked player does fouls". Because it's too easy see just the skills and unrealistic.

Actually, in the real life, all skills are hidden to the manager, but obviusly, you can't set all the skills hidden.

All I would like to see is NO google banners on the site like on musicinstant.com :) That would scare me away immediately. Good luck with your project :)

Musicinstant is not customize for low resolution, that might be one of the problems :P but I will be doing a make over soon which will look very nice.
