Hello Everybody,

Today we have posted a new update on the forums, which includes some new changes we have done as well as some screen-shots of the kind of graphics you can expect for the match engine. You may visit our forums by heading to footballcentre.org for more information.

agreed.
but I wonder if I can open the match with low connection. even for me, SO match is considered 'heavy' to load.

what is your connection speed?
2010-02-09 13:25:04
The matches are generated within 30 seconds on a "average" connection (7mb/s download speed). If you have a slow connection, than it will probably take a few seconds more but I would suggest upgrading.

I would be hugely surprised if this name will survive the first months without legal process :)

Me to :) They won't care about small internetgames, but what if it becomes more famous ..
2010-02-09 15:33:05

2010-02-09 16:08:54

2010-02-09 16:46:45
lol, mine is also low, about 100kb/s

Seriously 7mb/s 30s explain to computerhandicapped dude like me if, that means that the size of the "matchfiles"? would be 210mb, or am i missunderstanding something obvious?

I guess there's a difference between megabyte and megabit or something.
2010-02-09 17:32:44
Megabyte (MB), a measure of amount of information used, for example, to quantify computer memory or storage capacity.
Megabit (Mb, or properly: Mbit), a measure of amount of information commonly used in the combination Mb/s (megabit per second) to express the rate data is transferred.

Need to divide by 8 (for the megabit/megabyte conversion), but then still it would still be a very rough estimate. I think he said the 7 mbit and 30 seconds just to get an idea.
