I think, if my country was so good at speedskating, I would be so excited about it as you. But I am not.. For me it is like watching speedway, or nascar. :)

lol :P I know all events we have a change to win medals (ok, aren't that many events :P).

Well it does mean nothing to us, we and Czechs are still ice hockey nations and this is Winter "Ice Hockey" Games as it is in Canada :P
Today men will be separated from the boys! (don't know if this is ok english :P) In half an hour 10km speedskating starts. I can understand this is to much for many people :P But it is another gold medal for the Dutch (I hope and expect).

I'm confused about all these different kinds of ski things.
This is how the American/ Canadian are looking to speed skating. The sporter did win gold on the 5 KM.
What do you people find of it?
I think it is normal.
It does not mean that the woman that interviewed him had no idea who he was and what he won.
I would say she wanted that to cut together the athletes telling their name and country and what they won (so making a collections of different athletes from different nations and sports)
