Just a poll (without a poll) to ascertain what peoples viewpoints are of games like world at warcraft and others where you need to buy a cd before you can actually play them online.
I think Football Manager 2010 is doing the same (not sure so dont quote me on it). Would you buy it to then play it online? How could you play it at work?

That's not true. You have to register an account, and you can't do it without buying a CD from a store or a key from Blizzard. You can download the client, but you won't be able to play.
I'm playing WoW for 5 years; since it's entertaining I'll continue to subscribe. I think more and more games will do this since it's a reliable method against piracy...

well i get the client from my exclassmates/or downlaod it and buy that key on my own, but my point was that in Wow you ar enot obligated to buy the CD if you i\find the game elsewhere. important is to buy the key.
not only against piracy as its much more enoyable to play vs ppl rather then AI
