France was just too good in the end again, they started the tournament pretty slowly and build up once more. They won the 3 majors competitions in a row... wow... Their nickname has changed from "The Experts" to "The Invicibles" now in the papers. Each generation gets a nickname, it started with "the crazies" in '92 at Barcelona when France finally put a decent squad together... it hasnt really stopped since then to the utmost pleasure of my cousins back home!

I must agree, without arbiters Poland would win a championship.

'cause in that case Your players would be allowed to massacre all the opponents, butchery is the only thing Your players are good at. :p

Croatia was better, France was better - get over with it. Island was on similar level or a bit worse but we were tragic at the beginning...

aobut match with iceland you are right, I saw who was better who wasn't. I also saw what refs were doin on saturday and everybody know why, you heard wenta's declaration after match with icelanders ?

And yes, it is AMAZING that Iceland has become so good at handball considering their small population. They must have some serious talent work going on up there...

well, I'm sure You are going to win some big competition sometime, Poland team is doing a nice progress in last few years.

But I'm annoyed when someone is blaiming everyone else for his own failure. Yes, the yellow card for Wenta was a bad call, but match lasts for 60 minutes and as one of our ex-handball stars once said:

"If You are much better, even referies can't stop You from winning."

I can understand Your frustration, we lost many games partially because referies were on our opponents side. But You should look for reasons of Your defeat mostly in weak performance of Your team. Referies are just humans, in every sport there is possibility of their mistakes, I don't want to believe that those mistakes are made on purpose, else sport would lost his sense :(

as for Island I've heard a story that Poles started the handball out there...no idea if it's true ;-)

and well...today we had similar situation in 1st part of the game to Croatia. Foul after foul, suspension after suspension...

what about refs ?? they took france medal on world cup in germany (great semi-final) for example :)

in this tournament they kept good shape also in matches with poland - especially cause refferies was from norway third time on this tournament in match with our NT and when people who choose the refferies are from norway and croatia it is not fair !!

why am I frustrated ?? because we lost and because refs are very weak and sometimes unfair

i am frustrated too because of weak officiency of polish attackers, one great gk cant win with opponent
