I think the most famous German ever is Albert Einstein. But if you dont know him I could be wrong. Than maybe it's Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, who discovered the x-rays or Gottlieb Daimler, who developed the first car. His enterprice still produces Daimler Benz cars (Mercedes) for the whole world.
Do you know them? If not than maybe you know Karl Ferdinand Braun. He invented the cathode ray tube (CRT) which was bild in the first TVs. 15 years ago TVs started to chang into plasma or LCD. I think everyone should know this old heat box.
Do you know Ludwig van Beethoven? Maybe he is more famous in the world? Or Johann Wolfgang von Goethe or Siegmund Freud? I'm sorry for beeing so confused ;-)
