Subject: Video Editing Software?

I really hate the new Windows Live Movie Maker...

Does anyone know which is the best (or just any decent) free video editing software?

Sure, Sony Vegas is the best on the market. It might look difficult at the beginning, but you will get used to it in less than one hour. And it has so many effects that it's just amazing...all those awesome effect-includin video on the internet about footie players are made on it. And it never crashes, like WMM does...really good staff, give it a try. Here are my videos, I made them without any tutorials, right after downloading the software:

And try reading some tutorials, I was always anti-tutorial and prefered to learn everything by myself...it took me some time to master the effects thing, it turned out that I was making a stupid little mistake :)
