I wrote this earlier in the fotballcentre thread, but i dont want any user to miss this, so i started own thread for it. I think it should be the main subject. below you can read some revelations about the site: fotballcentre.org

I liked this project from the beginning, and I registered yesterday for the beta. But many users began to complain that the game fotballcentre has many similarities with sokker. After some research, I can say that this project was launched and was commissioned in order to be a clone of sokker. Available documents underline this.

And i dont support projects that try to imitate/copy something. Please try to create something new instead of ordering a job for copying a game. But this means that you are not doing this from the heart, you are doing this for the money. Some people put their heart and their time to create sokker.org, and some other people who do not have enough imagination to create something new, ends up copying the original. Its funny that you promised so much from the beginning, and we tought that this game would be something totaly different, but the truth is that the project was started as a clone of sokker.

I thought that other users here would want to know this.
+ I like sokker, and doing this for the game, i think they deserve to know this.

Fotballcentre is a joke for me now, cause the honesty to the users burst already.

Ps. To developers: dont try to deny this, or saying that you dont know what im talking about, cause i got the project documents.

First link: As you see in the first document, the person who ordered the project goes under the name "lanfeust". The same nickname is getting used in fotballcentre.org forums, and he is the same person who started this thread. The document shows that a indian company is making the site.

Second link: I found similar articles on many freelance sites, this is just one example.

Its not good to copy games? Behave when starting projects like this your game has to be based around something.

Do a search on MCCODES and you will see that there are about 1000 games out there which all ran from the same code template. Should they all be shot?

you apparently have not understood it, sry but im a web-developer and its different to order a job to clone a site and using the same coding system, usualy called cms to create a similar site. and if this was okey, the person would not deny this in other thread.

Its okey to get inspiration, but not order a job to clone. what do you base your opinions on, do have any experince in this field? so coding template that u are talking about is a hole different thing mate, that is very common thing, and i know that.

my issue is this.

I say "hmm you know what i can code php, but i wouldnt know how to do a game engine".
p.s. true story - i started one but died a death on the game engine front

So.. i go out there and contact people like yourself (possibly) asking for a football game engine to be created. You would come back and say "eh? what is a football game engine?" I would then say "base it on website sokker.org but i want it in 3d more like FIFA 10".

Why is that bad in your opinion?

That is not bad in my opinion, cause u are rewriting the words and make it to a different sentence. this is totaly different man, sry but i dont agree with you. and thats why he did deny everything, cause he knew that hes intentions was not like you think. Again its different to get inspired, or want to copy something.

All I want to do is see his 3d match engine.

Don't understand what are you complaining so vehemently. The beta is already open and it's nothing like sokker. If the 3D also turns out to be a completely different thing what would you angry for?

oh don't get me wrong, i do too :) but then sokker should make their ME 3d too :)
