Maybe these sites can help you a bit, the official citysites:

- I Amsterdam
- Utrecht your way
(Utrecht, the national and international college and university city in the middle of the country, also very nice to visit and only a 30 minutes travel by train from Amsterdam. And yes, of course we also have enough coffeeshops you can visit, many beautiful canals with pubs and restaurants, and last but not least the Domtower. I had to make some publicity for my city ;))

In the other way, how much does the "herbal suprise" cost in these coffee shops ? :P
2010-07-31 19:32:27
as far as i know it was like 5euros and up. now don't know , wait for the native's answer :D

Like everything else it depends on the quality and amount you want, but mostly between 6,50 and 11 euro a gram.

EDIT: but I won't pay 11 euros for 1 gram, so don't pay to much! And look/ask for the special offers, sometimes they have nice ones.

@ Ice-T
That was a few years ago :) inflation, inflation ..

Can someone tell me more about the city Wroclaw?

how many hours or days takes it to visit the city? Is it easy/reliable to get from Wroclaw to Krakow by train? ...
2010-08-01 12:21:57
The train connection is fine, though a bit slow.
Also it is better to buy a ticket with reserved place beacause during holidays it happens that the trains are full and you have to stay on the corridoor, which isn't that nice.

Wroclaw is a really nice city :) As for the visiting aspect, it's best to read and possibly print out the wikipedia info - click

Still, Wroclaw is, in my opinion, nothing compared to Krakow or Gdansk :)

wikipedia - Legality of cannabis

Here you can read everything about the legality of cannabis per country.

Strange thing is that in other countries they start to accept softdrugs, even in some states in the US!, but in the Netherlands some anti-Dutch Christian and conservative political parties are trying to destroy the Dutch culture by making new (ridiculous) laws to prevent (new) coffeeshops in certain areas and giving opponents more tools to fight coffeeshops by law (already closed many coffeeshops this way). And they are making it more and more difficult to grow weed without offering an alternative for coffeeshops.

Unfortunately it looks like the political party mostly responsible for this destruction of our culture is going to be in government again, even after loosing 50% of their voters :S
To get back ontopic: for those who want to enjoy good weed legally in the Netherlands, don’t wait to long, you never know what can happen in a few years time ..

Is it possible to visit both Wroclaw and Krakow in 4 days (= 3 nights)? considering the 4,5 h train ride between both cities?

Or would it be better (in your opinion) to stay the whole time in Wroclaw?

thanks for you info anyway :)

Well, I live in Wrocław since my birthday so I can something about it. In 2 days you can sightsee Wrocław very well, without musems, churches and beatiful townsquare there is nothing more interesting to see ;P
