Subject: »PIIGS - economics problems
Well, last time it happened in Hungary, we had some serious riots. But nothing has changed until the next election - it was 3 weeks ago. Do you think you can keep everything you have now and get out of the current situation? I'm quite sure it's impossible.

Well, about the costs of military equipment: solve the problems with Turkey.
I don't know about the coast guards, but that should be paid by the EU, as the rules are also made in Brussels. But the problem with those ilegal people in your country is still internal politics. Employers can be put under pressure not to hire ilegals employees for example.
And I don't know about the problems with Germany. But the exhibition of ancient artifacts and statues won't have that much influence on the public fund ;) as some of your other points, it seems more to be a personal problem with German politics.
All you Greeks all seems to know about the corruption, but now that other countries want to help you strike. I don't know the history of strikes in Greece. To me it's just strange that you all accepted it for so long and start striking when it's obviously too late.

It's not about artifacts it's about regaining money from stolen artifacts. Of course that a small importance compared to my other points of view.
I'm angry with SOME german politicians. I do realise that it's not easy for any nation to give money to another one but not giving and humiliating another country so local (germans in particular) banks and funds could gain more money is UNACCEPTABLE!!
On the other hand you can't judge us based on 1 strike... that's UNFAIR.
I'm working right now so....

If Greece is kicked out it will be good for the Euro.
1 strike? You can say what you want ( your first post was btw very interesting ), but Greek people do strike a lot. And at this point - whatever happened, lies, etc. - this is the worst thing you can do.
I read it yesterday, that there are 300 swimming pools in Athens - if everybody has told the truth to the Internal Revenue Service (is that the name of the Greek office for taxes too?) :) But you can count 20000 from a helicopter. Maybe that could be a potential income for the government too ;)

You can't know how oftenly do Greek people are on strike.
If 100 people are on strike does it count?
Read this article about credit rating agencies which played a major part in the speculative game against Greece
