There are more than 2 parties. Here in Flanders, we have 7 parties that have more than 5% of the votes. That's far from ideal too.
In Britain there are 3 main parties, but 2 made a coalition, so basically there is 2.
Euh, a coalition is made in Belgium all the time, that doesn't mean there are only 2 parties. The coalition in our Federal Government is CD&V-CdH-Open VLD-MR-PS, so that are 5 parties ( 2 Flemish ones and 3 Walloon ones ). There are Flemish and Walloon liberals, Flemish and Walloon christen-democrats and Walloon socialists ). We just have way to much parties as you can see in the image below. Note that first party were two parties ( CD&V and N-VA ) going to elections together, now there separated.

Actually Mr Cameron or his Dad. One of them anyway was born or at least raised in Huntly. Approx 20 miles from where Im from.
So Mr Cameron (his name give it away like) is a fair part Scottish. After all said and done, he's still a tool though.
He won't tell the English that though!

They will take away the milk fae school kids again. And enforce everyone to be so sad their face will turn grey.
Conversation between Cameron and Clegg went something like this.
Cameron: Do you want to form a coalition Mr Clegg.
Clegg: Mmm, not sure, whats in it for me and my mates?
Cameron: You can be my deputy PM and some of your cronies can get a nice erning job aswell.
Clegg: Ok, but we need to pan it out a bit and pretend were interested in the Country, voters and policies, that kinda thing first.
Cameron: Ok, whatever.

Tories plan to offer lessons on a Saturday to poorer children Extra classes and longer days would help disadvantaged pupils to catch up with their middle-class peers, Michael Gove tells ATL conference
Poorer children would be offered the chance to attend lessons on a Saturday to help catch up with their middle-class peers under the Tories, the shadow schools secretary, Michael Gove, said today.
The Conservatives would give English state schools the freedom to opt for longer teaching hours and extra classes at the weekend, he told the Association of Teachers and Lecturers' annual conference.
Gove said the move would help to close the achievement gap with richer children whose parents could afford extras such as tutoring and music lessons.
He told delegates in Manchester: "For children who come from homes where parents don't have the resources to provide additional stretch and cultural experiences, there are benefits in having those children in the learning environment, in school, for longer.
"Parents would love to have schools starting earlier in some circumstances, and certainly going on later in the afternoon, given the reality of [their] working lives," he said. He held up the example of Kipp [Knowledge is Power Program] schools in the US, which are often based in the poorest communities and open from 7.30am to 5pm on weekdays, plus Saturdays.
But it would be up to schools to decide to offer longer hours, Gove added.
Parents said Saturday classes could become a "badge of dishonour" if pupils were forced to go, while teachers raised concerns about their workload.
Margaret Morrissey, of the lobby group Parents Outloud, said: "I think the suggestion the government made about one-to-one teaching for these kids would be a more preferable way of improving these children's performance.
"I am just not sure whether taking away a child at weekends is actually going to make them cleverer in the week."
The ATL's general secretary, Mary Bousted, said: "If we want Saturday schools, then we need more teachers doing the extra hours, not the same teachers working longer."
So apparently how rich you are makes you more or less intelligent, so poorer children need to catch up with middle-class peers >:(
DAMN YOU DAVID CAMERON!!! YOU CAN TAKE MY WEEKENDS, BUT YOU'LL NEVER TAKE MY BROADBAND!!!

Nick Clegg sold his soul to the devil and has condemned his party to the political wilderness for years to come. Voting reform won't mean s**t now most of the Lid Dem voters will abandon the party for siding with the Tories.
for me since 20 years gb looks as if there is only one party.
when i was in england 30 years ago thatcher was elected.
i visited an old couple. he was labour, she tory. she smiled amused, he just muttered "she made it". but both were sure it was only a little interlude and didnt expect this would be the beginning of a destruction that lasts for decades.
