Subject: GB ELECTIONS

2010-05-18 18:30:04
for me since 20 years gb looks as if there is only one party.
when i was in england 30 years ago thatcher was elected.
i visited an old couple. he was labour, she tory. she smiled amused, he just muttered "she made it". but both were sure it was only a little interlude and didnt expect this would be the beginning of a destruction that lasts for decades.

Anyway, it said "poorer to catch up with middle class" Cameron wants us to work extra so we can be more like Eton :(

That's the most unlikely thing I've ever heard. Since when have the Conservatives ever been interested in establishing social equality? They exist to do exactly the opposite, make the lower classes work to fund business and the establishment. They are and always have been The Sheriff of Nottingham of political parties.

to be fair -- they haven't been in power now for quite a few years so i dont think we should judge just quite yet.

Political parties don't change their spots. They may undergo a style overhaul but they're essentially built on political ideologies that don't change.

2010-05-18 21:21:18
they will make the working class suffer by sending them to work/school on weekends :(
2010-05-18 21:23:03
stupid kds bring it upon themslves by saying they have nothing to do, and i have left school so good! :D
2010-05-18 21:23:56

Our school started 9-5 hours and made them compulsory already before the Tories, hopefully no Saturdays though.

And on the rich v poor intelligence debate - working-class family, A's in every GCSE I've done so far, and an IQ of around 150.

The theory is rubbish.

you are just lucky then, unlike my good self, who is fairly stupid.

Conservatives and Lib dems Alliance can be shortened to condem.

In other news. The new Scottish Secretary is Scottish Lib Dem MP who had been campaigning to abolish the role as its no longer required due to us having our own parliament now, nice. The Conservatives having spent the entire campaign stating they were against "Labour's job tax". When asked if they would reverse they said they wouldn't. Classy.

They will try and get all the naff policies out early doors when people aren't watching closely and are a bit hungover after the election.
