Subject: »Who are the bigger ****, Apple or Microsoft?

2010-05-21 17:14:40
Microsoft are scum. If you're wondering why Apple are so expensive you can blame Microsoft for their anti-competition processes which raise the prices of any other company.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I couldn't stop laughing when I read this drivel leaked out from the gaping orifice of an apple fanboi who reluctantly took some time off from fellating steve jobs.

So that's why ubuntu is so expensive, right?

You suckers are dumb enough to pay >60% premium on the very same product that people use in PCs, yet feel pride and shame at the same time that you're doing so.

Poor, poor apple! ;)

Ubuntu is open source, that means no licensing or compatibility fees payable to Microsoft.

It's also a fricken operating system, not a computer.

Oh so apple has to pay licensing and/or compatibility fees to ms?

LOLOLLLOLOL You're being very entertaining on a friday night.

So you're now claiming ms is a hardware manufacturer? No wonder Dell costs so much. I mean Acer. Oh wait...
2010-05-21 18:05:16
* Shakes head and walks away *
2010-05-21 18:07:41
How about, instead of making fun of his arguments, you respond with arguments of your own? :)
2010-05-21 18:12:55
That's right, your macboy support group will tell you how right you are and that steve appreciates your efforts, if he should by chance think of you.

Apple users are the kind of people who want to be cool and think that because something costs more, it must be cooler and better. Their low self esteem leads them to welcome the way the company dictates to them how and why they use the hardware they are purchasing.
2010-05-21 18:20:45
Mithos, that you're asking me that shows that you have let the 'making fun' bit distract you from the arguments.

In his first statement he states that apple is expensive because ms is anti-competitive. However ms has been heavily penalised for their behaviour, and is very strictly monitored. Also, I pointed out how a major competitor is in fact free, which proves that his argument is rubbish, because it is only apple that prices itself so highly.

In the second post he now says that the example given is that of an OS, so is irrelevant. In that case, if you connect that to his first post, it shows that he is trying to say that the hardware is expensive, and that the hardware is expensive because of ms anti-competitive behaviour in the hardware market.

At which point I indicate that Dell and Acer are far cheaper than apple, to which he has no answer.

Apple fanbois deserve all the ridicule they get, and so this post is for you, and if he continues with his craptastic arguments he'll get more of the same from me.
2010-05-21 18:25:01
Now we're getting somewhere. Thanks. :)
2010-05-21 18:28:10
No problem, I didn't know if you were trolling or not, but you deserve a straightforward answer anyway :)
2010-05-21 18:34:57
OK I tried to be polite and let it go because you're clearly an idiot but you decided to force the issue.

"In his first statement he states that apple is expensive because ms is anti-competitive. However ms has been heavily penalised for their behaviour,"

So I say that Microsoft are anti-competition, and you respond by agreeing with me. Good start

"Also, I pointed out how a major competitor is in fact free"

Ubuntu is not a competitor, it's an open source operating system. There's no attempt to take to compete, only to provide an alternative.

"which proves that his argument is rubbish, because it is only apple that prices itself so highly."

You've done no such thing. Infact you've actually backed up what I said above. Apple are to my knowledge the only company which offers their own hardware, coupled with their own software, which , because of Microsoft's domination of the market, means they have to make their machine compatible with Microsoft at great cost to Apple. You do know the difference between hardware and software right? Dell, Acer etc only provide hardware and I may be wrong on this but Microsoft offer them subsidies on the software to package them together.

I read that rest of your post but everything else you said I've already addressed. You're a tool

LOLOLOLOLOL apple makes their software compatible with ms at great cost to stevie jobs?

apple?
compatible with ms?

LOLLOLLOOOLLLLL

LOLOLOL this is better than late night comedies.

ok deluded appleboy, I said they WERE, and WERE PUNISHED for it. got steve's spunk in your eyes?

Ubuntu is not a competitor, it's an open source operating system. There's no attempt to take to compete, only to provide an alternative.

Ok so ms makes OS, canonical makes OS, therefore ubuntu is not a competitor? LOLOLOLOLLLOLOLL

Mac OS is not a competitor, it's an operating system. There's no attempt to take to compete, only to provide an alternative. Therefore apple is wasting time (allegedly, according to allegations by a rabid fanboi) making it's machine compatible with ms.

By the way, what do you mean by 'making their machine compatible with Microsoft'? Do you mean to tell me what they manufacture macs to be able to run windows straight off after installing on a clean HD?

this made me smile

and btw, Ive Ive opened my mac when it still worked, there was a toshiba hardrive inside.... quite sure that the rest of the components are not made by mac as well
2010-05-21 19:01:57
For sure, Gates made all in his power, to prevent any compatibility between MS Windows and Mac OS X. It's a bit pathetic...

BTW have you ever used an apple computer? (for more than 1 hour)

At last: please stop calling everyone appleboy, and behaving like a child... -.-
2010-05-21 19:30:04
For quite some time Mac stopped creating their own components, nowadays everything is Intel I believe

LOLOLLLLOOOL hoo boy *wipes tears from eyes*

Do you get a good feeling wearing your iTinFoilHat?

I've certainly used a mac, it's always funny that the mouse is limited to one button for nothing other than pig-headedness, forcing you to use two hands to access more options.

I'm not the child here, you're the one living in a child's delusional world where stevie jobs is your big shining hero (and there's an app for that!).
