Subject: World Cup Predictions

2010-07-12 02:03:34
First: all uruguayans except Arevalo play outside Uruguay, not here. So dont think that Uruguayan league counts in any sense.

Second: we were discussing r1card0's reference to Tabarez preparation for the World Cup, that only included 1 friendly game, and r1card0 said he agreed with this because it was the best option in order to recover players from a long season. You said this was non sense because Germany played many friendlies and also reached the semifinals... ¿what has this to do with what r1card0 said? Perhaps German players have greater physical skills... ¿so what? ¿Why do you say that what Tabarez did is "non sense"? You are not focusing in the point of discussion and just want to drive it to a comparisson with german players. If they played as much games as our players, good fo them: they must be better than ours.

from all the uruguayan players I liked arevalo rios the best he was always playing at 120% and his form never went down he had "garra charrua" :p for me the most important player of uruguay while forlan, suarez, fucile and lugano follow him...

I just used the German team as comparison, because they were the last opponent. I could have used any well prepared team and i really don't want to discuss traininig-theory with you, if you assume that German players could have greater physical skills in general. That's ridiculous! Let's finish this discussion now, it obviously wont get better!

of course germany has better players than urugay, everybody knows that:) thats why urugay is celebrating 4. place even more than germany is celebrating their 3.,and thats normal

And you are celebrating...

Yes. Arevalo ríos is superdivine form in all the games. He had the prize of asisting one of the bests goals of the WC.

Everybody thinks that German players are better than uruguayan ones? It`s very difficult to compare. I couldn't say that.
We celebrate because we reach the semifinals after 40 years. Germany does it in almost every WC, nothing to celebrate.
German and Uruguayan players are young. They can have another chance in Brasil 2014. We can compare them again in the next WC.

Arevalo and Diego Pérez was superb! Best defensive midfielders double of WC.

Uruguay had 11 passionate men on the field at all times, with real love for their country, then gave everything they had in every game, they were fantastic. :)
