Maybe good enough for the Bundesliga. But in terms of the favourites for the world cup (which i do NOT include Germany) none of these players would get a sniff at playing for the likes of Brazil, Spain, Holland, Argentina, England or France.

Don't forget it's winter in South Africa which may help some European teams who rely on a high tempo.

Yes, but it's not like it's cold, an average of 18 degrees in South-Africa in June-July.

You talked about a lack of talent in the german midfield and that is for sure bullshit. Players like Schweinsteiger or Özil (Kroos, Khedira and Marin will need some more years) could play in every european league. You're totaly right, that there are bigger favourites, but this has nothing to do with the talent of the german midfield!

I have no reason to take it personally. I just believe it is plain wrong, that's all.

Maybe there won't be one that will cause great concerns. However, that doesn't mean that they are easy to beat when you have to face them as a team. Afterall this is a team sport.
