yeah i did that too, the other team didnt like it when i scored the winning goal in the final, but they shut up when we reminded them they were 3 years older than us :)

Dont think you're allowed to play with pot at proffessional level though. You can have the tight strapping/support though and i suppose a cortizone injection would see him through the game.

In the 2006 WC Lahm played with an injured arm (ellbow injury) too. I dunno whether he had a cast or a bandage though.
As far as I know, Drogba might have a broken ellbow, which is a lot worse than just a broken arm. If that's true, he probably won't play in the wc. :(

Rio Ferdinand definitely out is what I'm hearing. And it was Heskey who did it. As if people weren't already annoyed by his presence :D
