England drawing with USA isn´t surprise at least for me. Paraguay with Itlay even less, we really know how strong they are. The maximum candidate to the title losing to the swiss is really a big surprise.

England were expected to win..

Yeah, I´m not saying that they weren´t, but it was big possibility that Paraguay and USA to rescue a tie, and even win, if defending really good, if they would managed to get ahead. Cause a priori they seem stronger than Switzerland, with more offensive power. Plus, Spain a priori was stronger than Italy and England. ;)

True, luckily for me, in my pub, I picked out Switzerland in the sweepstake, along with Argentina, Denmark, France and Greece...

bottom line is, for other than germany, this cup winner starts to look like a south american.

Dunno, I just hope the 5 to qualify, some other tournaments, apart from Argentina and Brazil, southamerican teams had good teams but they didn´t manged to qualify. I want our teams to cope the 1/4s, but it would be too much, at least the round of 16. ;P
