Subject: »Gaza sea convoy incident

Since the ship was coming from Turkey, there would have been a diplomatic incident. No matter who sent that ship... That's also pure logic.

Even if they attack you with metal bars, you can as a trained private, defend yourself without shooting to kill.

are you fucking idiot? did you even see that youtube movie? they were landing from heli and as soon as they touch the ground 10s of 'protestors' attacked soldiers.... I mean knowing those fanatic 'peacemakers' its prety obvious that soldiers would have died if they dint start shooting....

that is not true
The international water law regard only to ship that honestly pass in that water of a country, that's not the case here .
We have the right to stop the ship from getting in our water board .

I think you have misunderstood my post if this is your reaction.
I have not mentioned Jewish settlers anywhere nor a discussion about Israel anywhere. I'm not going to get into the rights over the country argument which is totally different and separate issue than the Gaza strip. There is also no civil war in Israel, I have no idea where you got that from.
With all due respect, I think you belittling me and my argument above by flinging non-related slogans about the region and general conflict.

Anyone else would have just blockaded the boat/s so I'd like to know Israels justification for reacting like this? Especially considering the boat/s weren't in Israeli waters. Legally I believe this comes under piracy and is entirely illegal.

lol, they were approaching it, accodring to you you would first let some idiots enter your house and start fighting them of there than blocking them from entering?

They were about 70 miles outside Israeli waters. As I said, any reasonable government would have found another way to deal with this but no, Israel just storms in with armed personnel. What the hell did they expect would happen?

there is a simple example how no coutry pay for ship with weapons

omg ure so naive lol....

first of all they stormed in with paintball guns and pepper sprays, real guns were only taken for the case which exactly happened now

and what would a 'reasonable' government do?
2010-06-01 02:01:01
who cares? even if its 200 miles... everyone knew where they were heading and what their destination was, and that crosses israeli waters

actually i would support israel in this case even if it was foreign waters... they are defending their country from fanatic arabs and if thats the way to do it, why not...

gatoman
UNBELIEVABLE, then they cry with the holocaust!! hypocrites!!

Just why you attached your answer to me ? :(
2010-06-01 02:14:13
hahahahah just a little mistake....

Its really frustrating for me when people talk about the holocaust whitout respect. This thread its about Israel, and the Holocaust its not about Israel, its about the jewish around the world.

I went to Israel last februrary, and was a incredible experience, israeli ppl are very very nice. (jewish, palestinian, im talking about all who lives there).... and im jewish :)

dude honestly you shouldn't talk anymore....that's the stupidest thing I heard in a long long time
2010-06-01 02:28:58
so you say that waiting for lethal weapons possibly taken to be used against your country/people is not stupid?
Didn't read the topic, but: I think humanitarian help should never be stopped. Doesn't it make sense that when there's a conflict in which you aren't involved that you try to minimize the casualties on both sides? Just like the Red Cross helps the Taliban in Afghanistan in treating the wounded.
