This is very unfortunate. Isreal being attacked, threatened and defends itself.
We do make mistakes, sometimes big mistakes.

However the real answer to your question is efficient propaganda.
6 milion people cannot compete with the mass of hundreds of milions of mulims that spread hatry all over the world.

Thats a slight contradiction there.

Most of the people writing there atricles and blogs etc. don't come from Muslim countries, but rather the US and Europe, most of whom have governments with an official pro-isreal stance. So saying that its the muslims influencing how the world precieves Isreal doesn't ring true to me

thats a total rubbish argument. All of Europe was taken over by Germany, so there was no way to interfere. And I dont see the link with the vision of most of the world regarding Israel ...

The holocaust was horrible absolute, but slowly it`s time to find some other reasons. Here in Germany it isn`t possible to speak about the holocaust in a very sensible way when one word sounds not like the jewish Germans want to hear Germany is the bad beast again.
The Situation in Gaza is against all human rights, sure there is a great problem but Israel didn`do all it can too keep peace or to develop new ways e.g. the new villages.
And here is the point not if there are some Idiots that did not belive in holocaust, and today a war human gesture was brutally defeated by idiotic israeli hardliner.
