Sadly also Jordan is far from being democratic but it's the Calm and peacefull one .

just that sanctions proposed by the UN security council against israel would almost certainly be vetoed by america
2010-06-03 18:23:40
To be fair he's not the worst

I'll take it as a compliment , but only with your permission of course ;)

First of I want to correct some impression that you guys have.
RogIronFist tried to show you how does nations like Iran speak. It was a bad move but after days of being attacked by the media for acting according to international laws, and getting our soldiers attacked by militants can do to people.

I am all for opening a thread where we could talk about what happened.

No one is claiming we are better then the rest of the world(take a look at my grammar, and understand were obviously not) Israel isn't a religious state, far from it.

fun fact number 1 :
Did you know one of the participant of the cruise to Gaza is a member of the Parliament That is a democracy.
fun fact number 2:
A nation with a king isn't a democracy (Jordan)
A nation with minority(about 20%) ruling over the majority cant be and wont ever be a democracy.

Stop thinking the world is against you ...
2010-06-03 19:57:39
Lets say some one stealing a car, a police man see him and tries to stop him.
This guy see the police man and start shooting him with a pistol, will you say it is the police man fault if that guy ends up dead cuz he fired back?

A nation with a king isn't a democracy (Jordan)

It can be a constitutional monarchy
2010-06-03 20:01:02
What about United Kingdom? There is no democracy?:)
2010-06-03 20:05:19
But that's not the case here . I think you took a wrong example .
2010-06-03 20:10:34
A king who can dismiss all members of parliament, assign judges, can dismiss them as well.
All constitution laws must go through him, he is commander of the military, Executive authority is vested in the king.

Is that democracy? this isnt the case of England...
But still it is much better then the democracy of Egypt which last election the prime minister got over 90% of voters
2010-06-03 20:16:17
I mean your example of the police man . In your case the policeman can be fault to ;) If he is shooting someone who did not do anythink wrong , then yes the policeman is wrong.
2010-06-03 20:18:07
Shooting with a pistol at a police man doesnt count as doing something wrong?

and rightly so, everything is better than the Muslim Brutherhood... democracy just doesn't work with Islam.

The democracy worked fine for the Palestinians untill Hamas took over.
And it is still working for them at the west bank where they have good economics and good life.

Again you're separating this into clear black and white, good and bad. Israel is not the policeman, nor is the thief Hamas, or the other way round. If you want a comparison, I'd suggest two brothers kicking the s**t out of each other for the last Rollo that their mum gave them.

A terror organization is bad.
Why there is a barricade over Gaza and not the west bank? same Palestinians but different approach.
I am afraid to tell you if you fire missiles every day at civilians you are not my brother.

Would you let a ship come to your country with cocaine?
Why should I let a ship with weapons come to Gaza?

We asked them to turn the cargo to Gaza to the red cross, so the red cross will pass it through land.
Egypt asked them to pass the cargo to Gaza through land at their gates by the red cross.
Did they really want to aid or wanted to aid Hamas ?
