I didn't mean fighting in the congress or in the middle, but calling another names is as bad as fighting.

I remember seeing on TV congressmen of an Assia country fighting on the congress.

Also in South America before politicians asked the army to do coups of state because the other party was on power.

Okay, but don't say when politics are involved, there are always fightings. In less civilized countries maybe, but in countries like Belgium, the Netherlands, UK, USA, Canada, Sweden, Germany, ... I don't think that is the case.

Maybe not direct fighting but the US house of representatives is a complete joke. They 2 parties will practically never break party alliance, even when for worthy causes, and it's for purely selfish reasons.

Okay, leave the USA out ;-) Most politicians are in the parliament because of selfish reasons, not to say I think they're all there for that reason.

In Canada, they may not fight with fist, but they call each other liars and they do so while using our tax money for adverticement (I would mind to see them in a fist fight for a chance, is going to be the closer to work they have been in years :D)

Canada we have 4 parties and IMHO

Quebecoise party cares only about Quebec.
Liberal and conservative party care about the companies
NDP cares about the unions (who don't always represent the worker)
Green party cares about trees

Nobody cares about the people

I don't have solution, I am not that clever.

In Flanders, we have 7 parties that obtain at least 6% of the votes, in Belgian parliament there are 12 parties ...

I try to do it. I tell the politicians in every opportunity I have what I think of them.

I am not naive, I know they don't care. But I don't want to go on to politics.

i guess u are from south of south america? and maybe u have spanish origins' so maybe it were your antecessors the ones that did killed the aborigins? did u ever think who the "descendientes" of this ones are? and where they live now? :P

BTW, Spain didn't enjoy neither the gold or silver. You used it to pay for goods that other european countries produced, and they used the money to build ships and armies.
